• The role combines presales, enterprise architecture, market development and strategic customer advisory. • AI is a central focus—embedded within NTT DATA’s core portfolio around digital transformation, cloud, networks, cybersecurity, managed services and data center offerings. • Presales and architecture consulting for customers in the public sector with a focus on research and higher education in the DACH region. • Advisory and development work in presales and architecture for public sector clients, concentrating on research and higher education across the DACH region. • Strengthening customer relationships by communicating future perspectives, technological roadmaps and business potential, and helping customers assess change and derive viable next steps. • Development of customer-specific solution blueprints, target architectures and proposal approaches with a clear emphasis on AI and technical services. • Advising customers at management level and facilitating complex decision-making and alignment processes. • Translating functional, organizational and strategic requirements into robust services, architectures and proposal concepts. • Positioning the NTT DATA portfolio in close collaboration with internal specialist teams, portfolio teams, delivery, governance and international units. • Contributing across the entire value chain—from market, portfolio and governance to concrete opportunities and management formats.
• Experience in presales, enterprise architecture, business architecture, consulting or a comparable client-facing architecture or advisory environment. • Understanding of public sector requirements; knowledge of the research and higher education environment is an advantage. • Experience developing solution architectures, target-state architectures, transformation approaches or strategic technology initiatives. • Interest in AI, modern technical services and their integration into resilient customer architectures. • Familiarity with relevant institutions, universities, research organizations and authorities in the DACH region is beneficial. • Knowledge of digital transformation, cloud, networks, cybersecurity, managed services and data center offerings is advantageous. • Confident presence, high personal responsibility and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration. • Very good written and spoken German and very good written and spoken English.
