Description
• Maintain and optimize performance of infrastructure engineering compute team • Document changes, incidents, problems, and architecture • Plan for and install new software releases and hardware upgrades • Ensure regular patches, updates, and system backups • Participate in on-call rotation and maintenance windows • Triage, resolve, and document incidents and problems • Execute well-documented Change Controls • Suggest and implement improvements/enhancements • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus infrastructure assets • Provide direction, scope, and management of Infrastructure Engineering automation efforts • Provide technical direction and leadership related to VMware and Cisco UCS security design • Define, design, and implement compute best practices • Ensure proper capacity planning, reporting and management of compute resources • Provide expert level supervision of high-risk Change Requests
Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience supporting in a virtual environment • 3+ years’ experience administering VMware / ESXi or another virtualization technology • Experience supporting server firmware and hardware • Experience with scripting and programming languages • Experience with Linux operating systems • Experience with IP network services • Working knowledge of network storage, certificates, and IP networks
