Description

• Provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of healthcare-related matters, including regulatory compliance and HIPAA-related matters • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts • Stay up-to-date with healthcare laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local laws • Assess legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate potential liabilities • Manage outside counsel • Assist in preparation of board and committee presentations and other materials • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • 5+ years’ legal experience, with preference for candidates with healthcare law experience • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Medicaid compliance • Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment (prior experience in a SaaS startup or similar environment preferred) • Comfortable working independently and communicating with executives and senior management
