• Maintain a keen understanding of our bakery ingredients for all existing product lines and new product launches • Prepare and presenting regular hands-on demonstrations to our In-Store Bakery customers of Irca and/or Dobla products • Develop a strategy and plan for each customer for sales growth. Understanding the customer strategy to present items that resonate with the customer to grow sales. • Utilize technical skills to present and recommend to our In-Store Bakery customers specific programs from our product selections • Present regularly to our In-Store Bakery customers new designs and/or ingredients to increase incremental business • Collaborate with marketing and in-house corporate chefs to develop and implement new product launch programs • Achieve sales goals and objectives in assigned multi-state region • Manage relationships with our existing customer base and identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts • Increase sales through key customer account penetration by analyzing current sales and volume, planning customer visits and sales calls • Provide exemplary customer service to assigned customers
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) • Baking and/or cake decorating experience; formal culinary training desired • Proven sales ability with 5 years of In-Store Bakery sales experience preferred • Commanding knowledge of ingredients with sales of ingredients experience preferred • Superb verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills • Compelling and engaging presentation skills • Highly motivated, high energy individual with a positive attitude and sense of urgency • Ability to create, present and implement aesthetic, fresh and innovative concepts for the In-Store Bakery consumer • Flexibility to travel up to 65% when necessary
