Description
• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and maintaining solid relationships with vendors. • Data analysis, journal-entries, account reconciliations, financial records maintenance, variance analysis, and month-end closing activities. • Empower employees to perform their best, provide training opportunities, supportive and collaborative culture. • Prepare financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, communication with Regional Finance Team, grasp of Local GAAP and IFRS, prevent discrepancies, implement control systems for daily operations, deliver accurate financial reporting. • Maintain understanding of accounting principles, manage foreign currencies, budgets, forecasts, intercompany reconciliations, taxes, DIOT, reports for auditors, process monitoring and automation, establish control processes, support accounting management, prepare financial statements in compliance, manage journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in a Financial Analyst role • Experience working in a multinational company • Previous experience in the Big 4 accounting firms is considered an asset • Strong oral and written communication skills in English • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes • Proficiency in Excel with experience in VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables, and related functions • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting • Exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal, communication skills, keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving mindset • Analytical and accountable mindset with a meticulous eye for detail • Ability to work well under pressure, collaborate effectively, consistently meet deadlines • Familiarity with NetSuite • General knowledge of payroll and social security taxes • Residing in Mexico City
