Description

• Backend engineers are responsible for building the core data-flows of Kitman Labs products. • They build APIs and data processing pipelines that handle massive amounts of data from sports teams worldwide. • Work in conjunction with the Data Science team to build and maintain data models focusing on injury risk prevention technology. • Expected to have a strong background or interest in building successful products. • Ability to work with systems involving multiple moving pieces. • Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and considered in allocating time and effort. • Experience in projects/products delivered to US federal government agencies with clearance desired.

Requirements

• Experience building APIs or dynamic web applications • Ability to adapt to new technologies and languages effectively • High standards for oneself and others, with focus on project completion • Value standardized, fully tested code delivered in a CI/CD environment • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, and Helm • Familiarity with Terraform for orchestration and infrastructure as code • Experience building products in accordance with Fedramp and DISA regulations
