📋 Description

• Execute clearly scoped tasks and projects to a high quality standard • Learn and apply the Mechanism OS and team conventions • Communicate progress proactively, flag blockers, and confirm assumptions • Build and maintain structured data models and clean datasets • Develop automated workflows using Google Apps Script, N8N, and Make • Support data pipelines and write SQL queries to extract and transform data • Assist in building dashboards in Looker, Metabase, or Periscope • Integrate AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Klaviyo into workflows • Build and iterate on web pages, product landing pages, and UI components • Plan, execute, and manage paid media and SEO initiatives • Extract, structure, and clean web-source data for research and competitive analysis • Perform ad-hoc operational, administrative, and research tasks • Progress toward independently owning end-to-end projects • Diagnose recurring operational problems and design durable automations, playbooks, and workflows • Develop primary-domain expertise and secondary-domain fluency • Collaborate with Mission Leaders, Operations Engineers, multidisciplinary teams, and portfolio companies

🎯 Requirements

• Strong analytical thinking and data literacy • Comfort working with data in spreadsheets or databases • Strong foundational proficiency in at least one Operations Engineering capability domain • Familiarity with at least one automation or workflow tool such as N8N, Make, Zapier, or similar • Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in spreadsheets or SQL, or ability to develop it quickly • Exposure to AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalents • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines without constant oversight • Professional experience in front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Tailwind, or Bootstrap • Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs or databases • Familiarity or proficiency using SQL to access and modify databases • Familiarity or proficiency in data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI • Experience using AI tools • Experience with paid media campaigns or creative production for ads • Background in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT is nice to have • Experience with front-end tools such as Webflow, Replo, React, or Shopify Builder is nice to have • Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Looker, Metabase, Periscope, or similar is nice to have • Hands-on experience with web scraping tools or scripting such as Octoparse or Python is nice to have • Experience supporting startup or venture environments is nice to have
