• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, team management, and technical expertise with marketing automation platforms. Reporting into the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing, the Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing will play a crucial role in driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth through various channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications. • Develop and lead Misfits Market's customer retention strategy to drive higher order frequency and overall lifetime value. • Partner, present, and report regularly to leadership and stakeholders on lifecycle strategy, plans, and results. • Manage a promotions budget to drive incremental orders and reactivations, adhering to defined effectiveness metrics. • Own team-level goals and forecasts aligned with broader business objectives. Develop robust reporting in partnership with the analytics team. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the product roadmap delivers on the LCM team’s ability to execute scalable campaigns and programs. • Develop a customer segmentation strategy for personalized user journeys across all channels. • Collaborate with the customer care team to optimize the user journey based on customer feedback. • Lead the technical execution and production process for campaigns across all LCM channels, including creative, copy, merchandising, testing, and reporting. • Strong technical understanding of marketing automation tools (Braze, Iterable, Sendgrid) and systems architecture, with the ability to make informed decisions on tool selection and configuration. • Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy to optimize email, SMS, and push notification performance. • Manage third-party vendor relationships (contract management, evaluating new vendors, etc). • Manage a team of 3 direct reports.
• 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing channels (email, SMS, push notifications), with at least 3 years of people & team management. • Experience with marketing automation tools like Braze, Iterable, Customer.io. • Highly analytical with advanced spreadsheet skills; experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Heap, Mode, Tableau, Looker, etc., preferred. • Proven ability to leverage a data-driven approach to drive measurable results across CRM channels. • Ability to prioritize resources and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. • Basic level of HTML/CSS & SQL preferred.
