Description

• Building and maintaining software while influencing and collaborating with Product, Design and Data Science stakeholders • Identifying possible risks and dependencies in our projects and mitigating them • Breaking down complex technical initiatives into executable engineering tasks • Partner with our DevOps team to create an efficient CI/CD pipeline to ensure we can push code to production reliably, confidently • Participating in code reviews, contribute to growing our codebase in a performant, scalable, maintainable way • Participate in frequent knowledge transfer, occasionally lead lunch & learn sessions within your area of specialization with our engineering members to set best practices, and foster a healthy engineering culture

Requirements

• 7+ years experience working in an engineering driven product organization, at least 2 of which involved leading complex technical initiatives • Strong understanding of Javascript, Typescript, Node.js , relational and nonrelational databases • Strong knowledge running production grade APIs in a cloud native environment (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS) • Strong understanding of microservice architecture and development patterns • Experience working on a consumer based mobile product is highly desirable • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to decompose complex technical problems and lead implementation • Ability to work independently or in a group setting
