• Leads the technical sales and quoting process with a focus on solution development through customer discussions, education, discovery, and requirements gathering • Provide technical and functional expertise to support the Public Safety sales account executive throughout the sales process • Identify technical risks and assist in overcoming limitations for mutually beneficial outcomes • Coordinate with third-party vendors and Product Management • Proactively build and maintain technical engagement relationships • Occasional travel to customer sites for technical sales support • Complete detailed documentation for accurate sales-to-service handover • Use internal systems to track, quote, and document deliverables • Actively support management team activities and annual targets • Presentation and demo of Public Safety products and applications if needed
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in technical pre-sales, Sales Engineer, technical solution business consultant, and Business Analyst ideally in Public Safety • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related field • Collaborative approach to sales with internal and external groups • Strong communication skills for technical solutions • Quick learner with assimilated technical knowledge • Proven technical background in NENA NG911 i3, IP telephony, Azure cloud, web applications, virtualization, trunk radio, networking, security • Experience in data/infrastructure, voice, and 9-1-1 infrastructure • Ability to deliver against tight timelines with customer focus • Excellent communication, presentation skills • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Salesforce.com • Strong team player • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Consultative experience in Public Safety design preferred • Willingness to travel 25-50%
