Description

• The Senior Technical Accountant will report to the Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting and will be responsible for assisting in all areas related to financial reporting, technical accounting, and intercompany accounting. This individual will interface extensively with the controllership team, as well as the tax and legal departments and both the internal and external auditors. • Responsibilities include preparing SEC reports, stock-based compensation entries, quarterly hedge accounting, financial statements, disclosure checklists, presentations, support for audits, process documentation, compliance with internal controls, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with active CPA license • A minimum of 3 years of experience within public accounting or a consumer industry is preferred • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, experience with stock based compensation accounting and experience with SOX • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required • Experience with Workiva and Netsuite ERP is a plus • Ability to self-manage is critical due to OLAPLEX's remote work environment • Must be very organized, detail oriented and able to work under tight timelines • Ability to work extended schedules around key reporting deadlines: monthly, quarterly, year-end and bi-annual board meetings • Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines. • Ability to work independently and team when appropriate • Ability to prioritize effectively and communicate conflicts to affected parties • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Occasional travel may be required.
