Description
• Define the target state architecture for the scope of work, serving as a solution architect within the agile delivery team (product or platform) • Create Architecture for a cloud platform and/or specific vendor/SaaS based applications • Develop understanding of current ecosystem to enable deployment of new applications or solutions in it • Bring forward modern architectural patterns, leveraging open source, cloud and key strategic vendor /SAAS technologies • Lead prototyping, discovery, and vendor evaluation activities • Collaborate with other architecture and engineering teams to optimize and reuse strategic solutions within the current landscape • Provide directional effort estimates/cost to ensure solution fits within overall business case and long-term financial plan • Maintain current knowledge of technology tools and techniques and mentor team members • Performs other duties related to architecture as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum of 8+ years of related experience building and architecting complex applications and integrations • Ability to communicate with technical and business teams • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with a major cloud vendor (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with Architect certification with one Cloud Vendor • At least 3 years of hands-on experience leveraging modern technologies such as Serverless, low code tools and microservices • Hands on experience building Microservice based architectures, leveraging API Gateways and/or Service Mesh • Hands on experience architecting solutions with SAAS applications • Proficiency in agile methodology • Ability to work within a complex, dynamic environment involving multiple teams • Demonstrated ability to influence cross functionally in a matrix management environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
