📋 Description

• Act as a senior HR expert for complex employee relations matters across allocated countries, particularly multiple European countries • Provide pragmatic guidance on high-risk and sensitive cases, including performance management, misconduct, investigations, and terminations • Navigate local legal frameworks while ensuring compliance and supporting business objectives • Partner with internal stakeholders and Oyster customers on complex people issues • Draft country-specific HR information and documentation • Use AI and automation tools to generate, update, and scale HR documentation • Answer HR tickets unresolved by Lifecycle Operations teams • Provide training and increase internal team knowledge on HR topics • Improve country-specific HR information and attend customer calls • Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Product, and Legal to solve country-specific issues • Audit and refine workflows to reduce response times and improve service quality • Analyze ticket trends and queries to identify systemic issues and build preventative resources • Lead People Services and cross-functional projects

🎯 Requirements

• Deep employee relations expertise across multiple countries, including complex and high-risk cases such as investigations, PIPs, and terminations • 6+ years of ER and HR generalist experience • Portuguese, Italian and/or Spanish language skills would set you up for success • Cross-country HR experience with a global focus across regions such as APAC, EMEA, AMER, or LATAM • Nuanced understanding of local HR practices, norms, and expectations • Ability to translate complex employment topics into practical advice • Stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting to senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams • Digital proficiency and practical experience using AI tools for drafting, research, and data analysis highly valued • Proven track record of optimizing processes, scaling operations, and proactive problem-solving • Experience in a metrics-driven environment focused on speed, precision, and quality • EOR experience and international employment/compliance knowledge is a bonus • Additional languages are a bonus • Fast-paced startup or global tech experience is a bonus • Experience implementing AI tools or automation workflows in HR or Operations is a bonus • Reliable home internet connection • Fluent English language • Must be based within UTC+0 to UTC+3 • Must be authorized to work where you live
