Description

• Building scheduling platform and optimization models for all traffic at Plaid • Developing new capabilities in the traffic platform • Training, experimenting, and deploying ML models for optimized extraction • Working on large-scale scheduling problems • People management of engineers, career growth, performance management • Managing two backend and infra teams • Building high-performing teams, recruiting new talent • Creating long-term roadmaps and executing against them • Setting team strategy, managing execution in partnership with product management counterparts • Coordinating with relevant platform-level teams for delivering on objectives and creating long-term strategies

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering management experience with significant software engineering background • Good technical sense with experience in scalability • Product sense and understanding of customer needs • Experience owning a production product • Passion for fostering functioning teams and organizations • Record of enhancing reports and providing growth opportunities • Excitement for recruiting and headcount planning
