• Act as technical advisor/resource for sales and prospects • Lead technical discovery and analysis • Perform product demonstrations • Host stakeholder sessions and solution validation • Respond to RFI/RFPs • Design and deliver Proof-of-Concepts • Match customer requirements with solutions • Architect, design, and solution using Protegrity’s products • Document proposed solutions, best practices, case studies • Update information in Salesforce and other applications • Other applicable duties
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Engineer/Sales Engineer • Strong business acumen • Strong technical aptitude • Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms and RDBMS systems • Experience in solution selling, value selling, and a consultative approach • Strong presentation skills • Experience creating and delivering thought leadership • Experience interacting with all levels of an organization • Strong Project Management and analytical skills • Well-developed interpersonal skills • Willingness to Travel (approximately 25%) • Additional preferred qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
