📋 Description

• Development and management of product portfolios from suppliers and leading polyolefin manufacturers in the DACH region • Collaboration with European Product Management and implementation of market and product strategies • Support for sales teams in designated product and application areas • Management of strategically important customers in the region • Identification of growth opportunities and ensuring a strong commercial presence • Provision of initial technical advice to sales teams and customers on product selection, market, and application • Communication of success stories and product advantages within the region • Participation in commercial planning and budgeting • Monitoring performance of assigned product groups and ensuring targets are met • Provision of market information for budget planning and sales activities • Interface role between regional sales teams and suppliers • Translation of product strategies into concrete regional action plans • Regional alignment of pricing, product availability, and customer requirements • Preparation of accurate sales and demand forecasts to support supply chain planning and product availability • Contribution to demand planning and risk management strategies • Promotion of cross-functional collaboration and alignment of common objectives • Coaching and development of team members

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or training in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a comparable field • At least 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles involving technical activities • Ability to influence across functions and countries and to implement objectives • Strong, clear communication and problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analysis • Ability to manage complex and conflicting priorities and to work results-oriented and responsively • Hands-on mentality and absolute service orientation • Fluent German and English skills • Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings up to 50%
