• Ensure all clinical resources meet quality scores based on QA standards • Provide support to clinical QA and Training team • Complete overread of chases for coders • Monitor coding error trends and assist in creating action plans • Resolve coding queries based on coding guidelines • Maintain quality control activities • Identify outliers requiring retraining • Pull reports to understand error trends • Collaborate effectively with QA teams • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Pro • Additional duties as necessary to meet customer obligations

Requirements

• Must have a professional coding certificate through AHIMA/AAPC • Minimum of 5 years coding experience with knowledge of Medicare and Commercial Risk Adjustment • Strong computer skills • High-speed internet access at home • Commitment to confidentiality of patient health information • Professional, articulate and able to work independently
