Description

• SEM strategy - Drive strategy and implementation of Paid Search across multiple search engines. Provide oversight of paid search campaigns, keyword development, ad groups and spend objectives • Agency management - Demonstrates best practices for using an agency for execution of campaigns • Go-to-market strategy - This role plays a part in informing new go-to-market strategies and how Search fits into an integrated strategy; inclusive of the necessary research • Communications - Excellent at using data to tell stories and inform decision making; comfortable at talking about search marketing practices with executive audiences • Data and MarTech - Familiar with conversion tracking set up, google tag manager, and other data sharing necessary for search program optimizations. Familiar with marketing attribution and has experience evolving a company’s culture to make the shift to adopting more advanced attribution methods and tools. • Campaign optimizations - Craft compelling search copy, inform landing page content, perform regular audits and manage an ongoing roadmap of A/B testing • Audience management - Manage marketing strategies using customer segmentation and touchpoints in the user journey • Size of budget - Has experience managing a robust paid search program in a high budget $$$ capacity • Integration of SEM & SEO - Desirous of applying an integrated strategy for paid and organic search. Works cross functionally in a proactive manner to optimize how Rocket Lawyer shows up on the SERP for strategically important keywords. • Google/MSN suite of products - Familiar with Search, YouTube, GDN, Performance Max, Demand Generation, retargeting and various ad products under the Google and MSN umbrella

Requirements

• 5-7 years of direct and relevant performance marketing experience with an emphasis on Paid Search, 7+ years of total marketing experience. • Have an understanding across critical areas of Digital Marketing that including Display, Video, Audio, Social channels • An SME in the paid search field and comfortable being the voice of this channel in the organization. • Experienced user of Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and various advertising platforms • Deep familiarity with all performance marketing metrics including CPL, CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV, and ROAS • Strong understanding of attribution analytics. Define, drive, and measure KPIs for all initiatives. • Exceptionally detailed-oriented, with a high bar for excellence in every deliverable • Excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Advanced oral/written communication and interpersonal skills • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience building pivot tables and graphs to tell data driven stories and inform decision making
