• Shape the future of the Content Lake backend to store and query content with unparalleled speed, scale, and freshness. • Responsible for building highly scalable, performant distributed systems providing core content creation and querying capabilities. • Lead critical incidents responses and fix complex defects. • Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through peer-reviewing, testing code, and championing coding standards. • Provide technical mentorship to level up the team and influence process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge and interest in computer science. • Experience in database programming, information retrieval, and key/value stores. • Passion for cutting-edge computer science research. • Proven track record of building and running distributed applications at scale. • Expertise in back end languages, particularly Go and some TypeScript/Node.js. • Compassionate and friendly with empathy for users. • Clear and concise communication skills for technical designs and thinking. • Experience working at a product/SaaS company.
