Description

• Senior Backend Engineer role • Ownership of projects end-to-end • Contribution of ideas and feedback to product development • Collaboration with Product team to slice and dice scope and deliver piece by piece • Building new software products or improving existing features 80% of the time • Mentorship and leadership opportunities for team members (20% of time) • Problem-solving and unblocking team members when necessary • High degree of technical knowledge around scaling systems • Previous experience working on backend with NodeJS, Typescript & Express • Familiarity with AWS cloud system (EKS, ECS, Fargate) • Experience with Postgres (or similar) • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar) • Product-focused and able to build microservice products understanding business and customers • Drive and focus to complete challenging projects on time • Proficient in microservices architecture skills • Thrives in fast-paced environment • Experience working in remote teams

Requirements

• Experience working on the backend for 5 years - ideally with NodeJS, Typescript & Express • Familiarity with the AWS cloud system. (EKS, ECS, Fargate) • Experience working with Postgres (or similar) • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar) • Product-focused mindset and ability to build microservices products • Drive and focus to get challenging projects over the finish line while meeting deadlines • High degree of technical knowledge around scaling systems • Experience working in remote teams.
