📋 Description

• Maintain data models and the logical and physical data structures, ensuring consistency with business rules. • Ensure metadata quality, taking into account its usefulness to the company’s various departments. • Participate in the evaluation of automation solutions that affect the production and use of information. • Monitor model implementation and verify the quality of database content. • Define the conceptual, logical, and physical modeling of the information required by the business. • Develop, propose, maintain, and update data models, ensuring normalization, consistency, and reduced redundancy. • Define data access security procedures. • Redesign data models to improve database performance. • Identify data distribution requirements and work with DBAs on physical implementation. • Contribute to the architecture modeling and implementation of BI and Big Data systems, KPIs, and dashboards to support executive decision-making. • Design and develop architecture for data services across relational, analytical, and NoSQL ecosystems. • Promote BI best practices by providing consulting, support, and mentoring to business teams. • Participate in the development and updating of data management and governance methodologies. • Support the specification of integration mechanisms, including services, ETL, database links, and DBMS-based integrations. • Develop SQL scripts for information validation and report specifications.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a completed undergraduate degree in any field accompanied by a certificate of completion of a postgraduate course (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology, comprising at least 360 hours. • DESIRABLE CERTIFICATION: At least one certification in one of the following database systems: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, SAP ASE, SAP IQ, or MySQL. • Preferred experience: 3 years of experience in data modeling and the integration of large data volumes in analytical and transactional environments. • Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling; advanced SQL, DDL, DML, and DCL; platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB; modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, Erwin, and CA Gen; and integrations via DBMSs, database links, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter).
