Description

Volt is hiring a Product Designer to join our rapidly scaling product team. As one of Volt’s early members, you will play a key role in the success of our team in achieving our mission. Your role will involve conducting thorough user research to understand their behaviors, needs, and pain points, which you'll translate into actionable design solutions using wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers, you'll ensure a smooth implementation of designs that align with technical requirements. Additionally, you'll champion user-centered design principles and contribute to creating a unified design language across all our products.

Requirements

• Software product design experience, preferably in a high growth startup environment. • A collaborative, pragmatic, user-focused mindset. We are a small but focused team and everyone must be aligned on our goals. • Experience with user research and testing. • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams. • Experience owning designs from user research through implementation. • The ability to thrive in a remote-first organization. • A desire to help contribute to a strong experimentation culture.
