• Drive the development and maintenance of financial models that map the organization’s clinical and operational activities to outcomes that drive Thyme Care’s financial performance. • Work cross-functionally with department leads to identify important measurement gaps for key performance indicators. • Develop identification strategies that allow for consistent and actionable tracking of operational outcomes and facilitate the adoption of new measures by internal stakeholders. • Execute analyses and develop models that allow Thyme Care to quantify the financial and risk trade-offs between different contract features in value-based arrangements. • Drive the standardization of measurement definitions across the organization and champion best practices in analytic reporting. • Support recurring annual financial reconciliations of value-based contracts, coordinating internal data resources and directly interfacing with actuarial and finance teams for existing customers. • Oversee the development and recurring reporting of Thyme Care’s savings forecasts and drive analyses to explore areas of underperformance for executive leadership and board meeting presentations.
• Experience with cost of care or clinical outcomes target setting process either at a payer, integrated healthcare system, managed care organization or value-based care organizations. • Developed financial models and/or forecasts in Excel that evaluate the cost of care impact of changing provider networks design and clinical intervention. • A strong understanding of financial and clinical metrics used in healthcare and strong working knowledge of industry standards for presenting data. • Familiarity with BI Tools like Looker, Tableau, Qliksense. • Experience using SQL or another coding language to pull and transform data in a structured manner from large healthcare claims databases. • Good coding and data hygiene and high standards for documenting. • A strong quantitative background with formal training in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Econometrics, etc…. • Have had prior experience working cross-functionally to drive standards around reporting and or measurement definitions. • Experience working across organizations, building rapport with data teams as well as downstream consumers. • Strong communication and critical thinking ability, having demonstrated the ability to articulate the “Here’s What”, the “So What”, and the “Now What” to executive audiences or external parties. • Prior experience with Python or other Programming Languages is a plus
