Description

• Building high-performing product engineering teams • Understanding the team's needs, knowledge distribution, and operational efficiency gaps • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to create and manage plans for timely delivery • Overseeing technical vision and fostering customer obsession • Planning and road mapping to build and lead high-impact initiatives • Actively contributing to improving processes and engineering best practices • Identifying technical risks and opportunities and developing mitigation strategies • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technologies • Responsible for executive-level communication regarding your teams

Requirements

• Engineering leadership experience as an engineering manager on a full-stack engineering team • Hands-on engineering experience (senior level) building code for web & mobile applications at scale • Experience designing and building microservice-based cloud apps with low-latency and high-reliability • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed system development • Experience building or managing teams that built backend applications and services with cloud-based technologies and SaaS applications • Experience leading teams of about 20 software engineers • Product mindset and curiosity to gain business acumen • Experience partnering with product management, design, and business stakeholders • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, CI/CD release management, and other operational excellence experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
