• Find prospects and quickly establish credibility and relationships with nonprofits while consistently meeting weekly outbound activity and new opportunity creation targets. • Build a pipeline of new sales opportunities using self-generated prospecting techniques along with developing warm leads from inbound and partner-sourced channels. • Help build the overall culture and brand value of Virtuous by collaborating with our internal team and continuously looking for innovative ways to grow the company • Develop multi-channel outreach sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn, video) to generate high-quality opportunities • Learn about the nonprofit fundraising space and quickly become an expert on the common software needs and pain points of nonprofit organizations, including CRM displacement scenarios and competitive evaluations. • Report to the Manager of Mid Market who will help you price projects, create proposals, and close deals while collaborating on deal strategy, packaging, and competitive positioning. • Perform online demonstrations of the software and services • Sell both standalone Virtuous products and bundled platform solutions based on prospect needs. • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene, ensuring accurate opportunity stages, next steps, notes, and forecast data. • Participate in weekly forecast reviews and commit to activity, pipeline, and stage-progression expectations. • Complete required sales enablement certifications, product training sessions, and quarterly skill benchmarks. • Help build the overall culture and brand value of Virtuous by collaborating with our internal teams (Marketing, SDRs, Partnerships, Product, and CS) to refine messaging, improve demos, and strengthen our GTM motion.
• Strong experience in sales and specifically B2B SaaS sales • At least two years of sales experience as a top performer with a proven ability to self-source pipeline • Knowledge of the nonprofit industry a plus • Amazing communicator with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand and deliver compelling, value-based demos that differentiate Virtuous from competitors • A knowledge of technology, and the ability to do your own software demos • Great personal time and task management skills • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment • Experience working with CRMs, email marketing, and other cloud software • Relentless and competitive • Someone who is a constant learner and focuses on personal and professional growth • A passion for helping nonprofits and a desire to truly understand what makes a nonprofit tick • Participate in AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) events, fundraising activities, and networking opportunities. • A love of finding and solving new challenges • A willingness to constantly experiment, change, and grow • Ability to take your work seriously without taking yourself too seriously • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, developing account plans, overseeing the entire sales process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Experience selling a multi-product portfolio or multiple SaaS modules is a plus. • A disciplined prospector with a weekly routine for generating new opportunities.
