📋 Description

• Provide technical support to the Regional Commercial team in developing field services proposals for power delivery, power utilization, and automation equipment and systems • Identify and propose value-added service solutions for industrial, utility, and commercial customers • Support proposals involving Power Distribution upgrades, Relay upgrades, and Arc Flash Mitigation Solutions • Identify and develop new business opportunities • Introduce new products and services • Contribute to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals • Develop and present technical solutions aligned with customer needs • Influence customer specifications • Prepare proposal content highlighting scope, benefits, and compliance • Provide technical leadership for Field Service proposals • Conduct site assessments • Determine material and labor requirements • Perform competitive analysis • Support engineering work scopes, schedules, and cost estimates • Communicate fulfillment requirements to sourcing and operations • Document competitor activities • Support new product introduction programs • Travel within the coverage area 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university with 6 years of experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience • Experience with application of Power Distribution upgrades, Relay upgrades, and Arc Flash Mitigation Solutions preferred • Experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems preferred • Experience working with customers in Oil & Gas, metals, mining, paper, Power Gen, data center, commercial building, or similar business segments preferred • Experience reviewing customer specifications, developing proposals, and managing contract development and negotiations preferred • Strong oral and written communication abilities • Skilled in delivering impactful presentations and engaging with all organizational levels • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset • Ability to work in team-oriented environments to create complex, integrated solutions • Creative problem-solving and innovative approach to challenges • Ability to develop and write technical specifications and proposals leveraging the full ABB portfolio • Candidates must already have work authorization permitting them to work for ABB in the US
