📋 Description

• Analyze software requirements and business needs to design and implement effective technical solutions • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications primarily using VB.NET and Windows Forms • Create, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data integrations • Support existing applications by troubleshooting complex issues and resolving production defects • Contribute to C# applications and services when required • Maintain integrations with internal and external systems through REST APIs • Follow coding standards, source control practices, testing procedures, and software development best practices • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and code reviews • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to improve and modernize applications • Assist with technical documentation, software testing, and deployment activities • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team • Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential company data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience using VB.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework • Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining Windows Forms applications • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database design • Working knowledge of C# and ability to support .NET applications • Experience consuming and maintaining RESTful APIs and system integrations • Experience working with legacy applications and modernizing existing codebases • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture best practices • Experience with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows • Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis of complex software issues • Knowledge of unit testing and software quality practices • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to work with legacy and evolving technologies • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions • Working hours based on the US Central-Eastern Time Zone
