📋 Description

• Lead and grow a balanced team of engineers through clear expectations, direct feedback, and career development • Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap • Tie technical initiatives to customer-trust and business-impact goals, including redesigns and structural improvements • Empower tech leads and engineers to maintain design and quality standards • Support technical design and cross-functional alignment • Own availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems • Participate in on-call and incident response and reduce operational toil • Drive alignment across organizations and influence partner-experience and foundational-team roadmaps • Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams on cross-functional efforts

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams • Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software • Experience driving execution through ambiguity • Technical judgment for architecture, quality, and reliability decisions • Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end • Familiarity with modern full-stack development • Experience with declarative UI frameworks such as React or React Native • Experience with a backend-for-frontend • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills • Ability to build alignment and drive outcomes without direct authority • Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
