📋 Description

• Partner with Afresh's account lead and customer technical teams to scope and architect data sources, architecture, and production delivery paths • Embed with customer data and engineering teams remotely and on-site • Integrate into customer cloud and data platforms • Build production-grade pipelines and model messy enterprise data into trustworthy data products • Design and ship production-ready LLM- and agent-powered systems, including retrieval, agentic workflows, data-quality agents, and analytics agents • Harden field learnings into the shared platform's knowledge and grounding layer, agent frameworks, and serving infrastructure • Build evaluations, tracing, and tooling to measure accuracy, hallucination rate, latency, and cost • Create clean interfaces and reusable building blocks rather than one-off customer code • Own the feedback loop between customer deployments and platform improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building production software and data systems, with strong, production-grade code • Ability to take ambiguous problems and messy data landscapes, design clean and workable solutions, and build them • Production experience building real systems with LLMs and agents, including retrieval/RAG and tool-use • Ability to evaluate AI system quality • Data-engineering experience building and operating data pipelines and modeling messy enterprise data • Experience with a modern cloud data platform such as Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar • Ability to work directly with customer engineers and data teams • Comfort switching between customer-facing work and reusable infrastructure development • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites (~10-20%) • This position is not eligible for company sponsorship • Remote employees must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin
