📋 Description

• Drive efforts and contribute to building high-quality, scalable computer software systems • Participate in the software design process from beginning to end • Contribute to technical decisions supporting strategic product goals • Own product features end-to-end across backend and frontend development, approximately 60% backend and 40% frontend • Participate in code and design reviews • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging • Write clean code and develop functional web applications • Build and maintain data pipelines transforming incoming data into Kafka streams and KeyLife Indicators • Troubleshoot and debug systems • Perform UI tests to optimize performance • Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features • Manage technologies to improve legacy applications • Gather and address technical and design requirements • Set up and maintain environment configurations and monitor system health • Build reusable code and libraries • Provide training and support to internal teams • Enhance development tools, test coverage, and code structure • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support • Contribute to architectural discussions • Respond to on-call incidents and resolve critical disruptions • Communicate with customers and vendors • Independently manage tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines • Maintain team development standards • Champion an API-first approach to software projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience in software development or a related field, or 6 years with an advanced degree • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, another related field, or equivalent work experience • Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Kotlin or Java • Proven experience as a full stack developer • Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks; Vue.js preferred, alongside React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS • Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs • Understanding of the complete software development process from design through deployment • Experience developing and deploying applications for cloud-native infrastructure, including AWS and Kubernetes • Proficiency in Kafka fundamentals and event-driven architecture • Experience working within an agile framework • Excellent analytical and time management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams • Experience monitoring and supporting production systems • Experience optimizing system performance and troubleshooting bottlenecks • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms • Understanding and practical application of REST API best practices • Experience developing unit, UI automation, and integration tests • Experience applying AI-driven engineering practices to code generation, testing, and refactoring • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation • Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment; employment sponsorship is not available • Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field • Preferred: Experience with SaaS offerings in technology and financial industries, Maven, Kotlin and/or Vue.js, OpenTelemetry, and AWS/Kubernetes deployments
