📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade applications across the technology stack • Build modern, responsive, and scalable web applications using React and modern UI frameworks • Develop secure backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot • Participate in application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives • Develop and support Matter Management, Legal Operations, and Document Management solutions • Build integrations between legal platforms, claims systems, document repositories, and enterprise applications • Implement workflow-driven solutions supporting legal intake, matter lifecycle management, document processing, and regulatory compliance • Support litigation, claims management, legal reporting, and operational processes through technology solutions • Design and develop cloud-native microservices and scalable APIs • Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent messaging platforms • Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls • Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and availability • Develop responsive interfaces using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and microservices • Create reusable UI components and implement modern design patterns • Improve usability, accessibility, and user experience • Design and support solutions using MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, and document-based databases • Develop and maintain relational and NoSQL data models • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation • Support cloud-native application deployment and operations in Azure and AWS environments • Work with Docker and Kubernetes containerized applications • Support monitoring, alerting, logging, observability, incident management, production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams • Translate business requirements into technical solutions • Support testing, releases, upgrades, and post-production activities • Contribute to peer code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer • Experience designing and developing enterprise applications and integrations • Strong experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, APIs, and event-driven architectures • Experience with distributed messaging platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus • Strong understanding of cloud-native application development principles • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB) • Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and application security • Experience developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS • Experience building and supporting cloud-native, containerized applications • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and similar automation platforms • Experience supporting production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence practices • Background investigation required • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
