📋 Description

• Lead design, modernization, and implementation strategies for enterprise Drupal solutions aligned with DHS technical standards and cloud-hosted environments • Define Drupal application architectures, including monolithic versus headless/decoupled approaches • Establish architecture patterns, coding standards, and reusable modules • Guide creation, enhancement, and maintenance of custom Drupal modules • Review contributed modules and third-party libraries for maintainability and security • Optimize Drupal performance through caching, content architecture, and page-rendering practices • Architect integrations with identity solutions such as Okta SSO, data services, cloud hosting, and external APIs • Ensure Drupal applications operate with systems and databases across DHS Headquarters and enterprise environments • Ensure compliance with DHS security directives, cloud security controls, and NIST-aligned safeguards • Validate Section 508 WCAG 2.0 A/AA accessibility compliance • Oversee functional, regression, accessibility, usability, and integration testing within DHS Agile/SELC processes • Provide technical guidance for releases, migrations, deployments, and environment configuration • Evaluate emerging Drupal capabilities, frameworks, hosting models, and tools • Advise leadership on Drupal roadmaps, platform consolidation, and enterprise reuse strategies • Mentor developers, analysts, and architects • Produce or oversee SELC documentation, architectural diagrams, data flows, module specifications, and user/developer guides • Support governance reviews, change control, and technical assessments for Drupal enhancements, SCRs, and modernization initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • 11 years of progressive technical or functional experience in a selected technical area or specialty skill • US Citizen • Ability to successfully complete a government-issued background investigation • Ability to obtain a Public Trust • Superior verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities • Ability to motivate and guide technical teams • Experience/knowledge of Drupal, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Dataverse, Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow • Knowledge of DHS technical standards, DHS security directives such as 4300A, cloud security controls, NIST-aligned safeguards, Section 508, WCAG 2.0 A/AA, and Trusted Tester methodologies • Microsoft Certification preferred • Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred
