📋 Description

• Join the team directing execution of Small Modular Reactor and nuclear fuel cycle facility projects • Serve as a recognized expert on process engineering for nuclear facilities • Identify innovative solutions to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business • Lead functional teams for projects meeting milestones and objectives • Direct research and solve technical problems with broad impact on company activities • Provide oversight and supervision of the technical work of senior professionals • Communicate complex ideas and persuade others at senior levels • Participate in technical quality assurance reviews • Assist management in conducting project review audits • Coordinate with operational managers to identify staffing needs and recruitment opportunities • Lead initiatives with considerable risk and complexity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Nuclear Engineering • Minimum of fifteen years post-baccalaureate experience • Strong communication skills in a challenging, multi-tiered environment • Strong organizational skills • Ability to foster and achieve goal alignment among participants with differing interests • Expert knowledge of key NRC regulations, design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities required • Expert knowledge in the use of related design software codes, including process simulation software • Senior design professional on Commercial and Department of Energy nuclear reactor projects • Senior design professional on Commercial and Department of Energy nuclear fuel cycle facilities • Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience • Professional Engineering (PE) License required, with ability to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.
