📋 Description

• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing expertise and guidance on technologies, frameworks, and tools • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Assist in estimation, prioritization, and planning of development tasks • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and Infrastructure as Code tools aligned with DevSecOps principles • Streamline deployment and management of microservices and APIs on AWS • Develop and deploy monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools for observability and resilience • Participate in security reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability management activities • Identify and remediate potential threats within microservices, APIs, and AWS infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card only - we do not offer Sponsorship • US Residency for at least the past 3 years • Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation • Ability to work independently as well as in a team • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in one or more programming languages, including Go, Python, or Typescript • Skilled in Bash scripting for task automation • Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation • Deep familiarity with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS/Fargate, RDS, EventBridge, CloudFront, S3, ApiGateway, CloudWatch and WAF • Familiarity with version control systems, especially GitHub • AWS EKS / Kubernetes • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation • AWS with emphasis on VPC, Subnetting, Security Groups, IAM Roles, and Network configuration • An SRE mindset with the ability to trace an error from logs to the point in the system that needs changing
