📋 Description

• Lead Site Reliability Engineering activities for large-scale applications, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance • Support runtime operations and the application development lifecycle • Design and implement automation, scaling, auto-recovery, redundancy, and availability solutions • Plan application and infrastructure capacity and manage SLA/SLO considerations • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Use APM and observability tools to monitor applications and infrastructure • Conduct proofs of concept and translate successful POCs to enterprise scale • Apply AI technologies and generative AI tools to reliability engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience with Java web/enterprise projects • Good understanding of runtime support and the application development lifecycle • Understanding of reliability concepts and design, including automation, scaling, auto-recovery, redundancy, and availability • Understanding of application/infrastructure capacity planning and SLA/SLOs • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Java frameworks • Solid understanding of AWS cloud computing platforms • AWS certification preferred • Proficiency implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably CloudBees or Jenkins • Experience with APM/observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk • Hands-on experience with PCF, App-Pilot, and Presto • Skills in conducting POCs and scaling them to enterprise level • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Good understanding of AI technologies • Knowledge and experience with generative AI tools and technologies such as GHCP, Claude, and AWS Bedrock
