📋 Description

• Serve as the technical steward of Axona's end-to-end pharmacy fulfillment ecosystem • Ensure all platform components work together as a unified solution • Define service boundaries, integration patterns, API contracts, deployment strategies, and modernization priorities • Validate architectural decisions through code, prototypes, and real-world implementation • Balance strategic architecture with hands-on development • Report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture • Support pharmacy automation systems, including counting, packaging, and robotic dispensing systems and software • Travel 30%–40%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; master's degree is a plus • 14+ years of software engineering experience • 6+ years in an architect or equivalent technical leadership role • Ownership of a production platform spanning both backend services and frontend/UI layers • Deep .NET/C# expertise • Advanced .NET and C# knowledge • Modern asynchronous programming experience • Microservices or modular architecture design experience • Production-scale architecture experience • React.js and React Native experience • TypeScript and modern JavaScript proficiency • Front-end architecture and standards ownership • Deep understanding of React lifecycle and rendering • Kafka or equivalent event streaming experience • MassTransit/workflow orchestration experience • gRPC and MQTT knowledge • Sagas/state machines knowledge • Understanding of ordering, delivery guarantees, and backpressure • IoT/connected device platform experience • Experience with device identity and provisioning • Experience with fleet management • Experience with telemetry pipelines • Experience with offline/intermittent connectivity • Experience with device twins/shadow state • Experience with over-the-air updates and configuration management
