📋 Description

• Own the full client relationship from discovery through close • Make architecture and build decisions suited to client environments and constraints • Run discovery, architecture reviews, and stakeholder interviews independently • Translate ambiguous problems into scoped, deliverable work • Identify and manage scope creep and surface risks proactively • Identify and surface expansion opportunities • Transfer lasting capability through documented, runnable, maintainable software or automations • Contribute patterns, templates, and reusable components to the practice after each engagement • Run solo technical engagements or single-function AI adoption programs depending on specialization • Own outcomes across agents, AI product builds, enterprise adoption, persona discovery, enablement, and workflow automation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or technical delivery experience with meaningful time in embedded or client-facing contexts • Proven solo account delivery, owning a client relationship from kickoff through close without supervision • Hands-on depth in one or more of: LLM application development, cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred), backend systems at scale, or enterprise business automation • Demonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions and manage delivery quality inside client environments • Strong technical and executive-level communication skills • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to deliver value before all requirements are defined • Preferred: experience building production AI systems, including RAG pipelines, agents, fine-tuned models, or LLM-native applications • Preferred: hands-on experience with Claude, AWS Bedrock, model parameters, prompt architecture, or tool use • Preferred: background in consulting, systems integration, or professional services • Preferred: familiarity with SOW-based delivery and scope management • Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent certification • Operational preferred: management consulting, enterprise SaaS implementation, or deep business-function experience • Operational preferred: experience designing and running AI enablement programs for non-technical audiences • Operational preferred: experience with Zapier, Power Automate, Airtable, Salesforce, Workday, or ServiceNow • Operational preferred: cross-functional experience across Finance, Legal, and Operations • Current legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located; Caylent does not sponsor visas or work permits
