📋 Description

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications • Conduct verification and validation across multiple test streams under tight deadlines • Create detailed QA artifacts aligned with software requirements and design specifications • Prepare for and manage test execution as part of a team or as the sole tester • Perform ADA accessibility testing for regulatory compliance • Generate daily test status reports and detailed test metrics for the Mainframe Transformation program • Conduct manual, automated, system, integration, and regression testing • Verify transactional databases, Informatica code, and ETL processes • Validate legacy Mainframe applications, data reporting systems, and Java and .NET applications • Analyze user requirements, operational procedures, and system challenges • Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements • Report to the Program Manager • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience testing applications designed in Java and .NET • Ability to test web applications, with familiarity in Cloud and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts • 8 years of experience with Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Black Box Testing, White Box Testing, Manual Testing, and Automated Testing • Advanced-level experience using SQL queries and PL/SQL programs for application testing • Experience with Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering methodologies • Experience writing, revising, and verifying quality standards and test procedures, including test plans and test cases • Experience breaking down business requirements and technical design specifications into test cases • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • 4 years of experience in data testing using SSIS, SSRS, and ETL processes • Experience testing data between MS SQL databases, Oracle, and Mainframe data • 2 years of experience with the RRC LoneSTAR system • Must be able to pass a background check • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on a multifunctional team • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel • Preferred: 4 years of experience using Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and creating dashboards • Preferred: Mainframe application testing, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, Informatica, or Mulesoft • Preferred: Developing web application test scripts using Java, Selenium, or similar tools • Preferred: Database queries, input-data creation, and data-update verification • Preferred: ADA planning and testing • Preferred: Informatica and Change Data Capture (CDC) planning and testing • Preferred: Microsoft, Java, and n-tier web technologies • Preferred: Current web technologies and web application testing • Preferred: Functional, performance, and load/stress testing • Preferred: 6 years generating SQL queries and using other data interrogation methods • Preferred: Oil and Gas industry experience and compliance/enforcement-related project experience • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience is preferred
