📋 Description

• Coordinate payroll processing for assigned pay groups by validating HRIS and timekeeping inputs and applying standard pay rules • Verify standard earnings and adjustments to sustain accurate gross-to-net outcomes • Resolve payroll and payroll tax exceptions by researching records, coordinating corrections, and confirming timely issuance • Maintain payroll records, reporting, and control documentation for audits, statutory obligations, and period close • Assist payroll tax administration by preparing reconciliations and supporting jurisdictional actions • Perform year-end readiness activities, including assigned reconciliations and wage statement accuracy and exception resolution

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing support and payroll administration, or a related field required • Proficiency with payroll processing software, preferably Workday • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, payroll-to-GL reconciliation, and related tax applications • Proficiency in clear oral and written communication • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to implement and improve processes supporting audit practices and internal controls • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Associate's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred
