📋 Description

• Own cloud partner integrations end to end, including design, implementation, and production operation • Define architecture for authentication and identity flows, multi-tenancy, data movement, performance, and production behavior • Own infrastructure, CI, deployment, observability, and on-call responsibilities • Build on and manage integrations with external platforms that cannot be changed • Identify and manage risks across platform trust boundaries • Partner with internal teams to iterate on product requirements and agree on interfaces and protocols • Proactively unblock work dependent on services owned by other teams • Establish technical patterns and defaults for the integrations team • Collaborate with the engineering manager, product manager, growing team, and engineers across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building software, including substantial experience with data-heavy or integration-focused systems • Proficiency in TypeScript or Go, or comfortable contributing to both • Strong backend and systems knowledge • Ability to reason about deployment topology, multi-tenancy, data movement, performance, and architectural tradeoffs • Experience with modern authentication protocols, service principals, and identity federation • Experience building on external platforms with incomplete documentation and potential breaking changes • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and make decisions under uncertainty • Primarily a backend engineer comfortable touching a modern React application • Effective use of AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot • Strong written communication skills for chats, design documents, and RFCs • Familiarity with a major cloud data or analytics platform ecosystem is a bonus • Experience with authentication and identity federation, partner security reviews, marketplace requirements, or certification requirements is a bonus • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms and their isolation and deployment topology is a bonus • Working knowledge of ClickHouse or another columnar/OLAP engine is a bonus
