📋 Description

• Support AWS Cloud application migrations and modernization • Perform CloudOps and infrastructure-as-code for ongoing platform management • Set up and configure AWS Cloud infrastructure for new platform builds • Ensure system compliance with company security standards and applicable regulatory requirements • Provide transition support for modernized services to operational teams • Provide engineering-level troubleshooting and restore services for operational issues on supported platforms • Drive architecture, roadmaps, and project execution to establish and operate Cloud IT infrastructure best practices • Work with Scientific and Technical Compute customers and RCH application teams • Make recommendations on evolving cloud tools and services based on client needs

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Solution Architecture or Cloud Infrastructure Deployment • Experience migrating and deploying AWS applications, including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, Glue, EMR and Athena • Experience deploying and managing containerized environments • Experience using scripting tools, automation tools, and configuration management tools; Ansible preferred • Excellent communication skills, including preparation of written documentation for IT colleagues and end users • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Must not require sponsorship now or in the future • Prior experience working in the Life Sciences realm preferred • Proficiency with building Docker images and related application re-hosting skills preferred • Python, R, or another related data science programming language preferred • Ability to work on an East Coast US time schedule
