📋 Description

• Build and operate internal software supporting Collectors' grading and authentication operations • Use AI tooling, preferably Claude, across software design, architecture, and implementation while owning shipped quality • Build backend services, RESTful APIs, and data models for internal grading and authentication applications • Work across containerized .NET applications, serverless APIs, and Python background processing jobs • Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous systems for reliable high-volume operational data flow • Develop frontend features using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical designs • Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and user-interface issues across a large codebase • Participate in an on-call rotation • Contribute technical documentation and improve system design, code quality, observability, and engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production applications, with substantial backend experience and some frontend delivery experience • 3+ years of experience or strong proficiency in C# and .NET • Routine use of AI tooling, preferably Claude, with judgment to review and own its output • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service integrations • Experience defining module boundaries and determining when capabilities warrant separate services • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for production services • Strong relational database and data modeling fundamentals, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience operating cloud production services, including Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, serverless compute behind an API gateway, and managed messaging and data stores • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a component-based frontend framework • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and monitoring/observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills • Experience translating complex Product and Operations requirements into extensible systems • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Nice to have: asynchronous, event-driven, and distributed systems experience • Nice to have: AWS, Python, pytest or unittest, Apache Kafka, DynamoDB, or Vue.js experience • Nice to have: high-volume workflow optimization experience
