📋 Description

• Design and develop software applications from product vision through implementation • Develop database applications and reusable software components for the Cotiviti product suite • Drive application design through global teams to build applications delivering business value • Evaluate new technologies, external products, and designs against roadmap requirements and make recommendations • Consult with infrastructure teams to align infrastructure and architecture • Design, support, and continuously enhance the product codebase and continuous integration pipeline • Investigate and resolve performance and stability issues in production systems • Perform PL/SQL and query performance tuning on large-volume production datasets • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate PL/SQL coding, code review, and testing • Collaborate with globally distributed teams, software engineers, DevOps engineers, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, performance, security, and serviceability • Complete assigned performance goals, special projects, and other duties

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software design and development using Oracle • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent • Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as BULK Collection • Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS database development and performance tuning • PL/SQL performance tuning experience on large-volume datasets, including execution plan analysis, bulk operations, partitioning, and indexing strategy • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code for PL/SQL development, code review, and testing • Deep understanding of advanced Oracle database development features • Experience with JIRA and GIT • Knowledge of functional programming preferred • Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies • Exposure to or participation in Agile Scrum techniques preferred • Experience configuring CI servers such as Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Cruise Control • Experience with CI/CD implementation • Ability to communicate with others to exchange information • Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work • Ability to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Ability to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
