📋 Description

• Own and execute the H100 platform engineering roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities and program milestones • Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities, including GKE, networking, IAM, CI/CD, and observability • Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and ADR compliance • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements, including SOC2 and HIPAA • Partner with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams across security, networking, and applications • Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation strategies • Coordinate dependencies across teams and delivery streams • Act as technical and delivery point of contact for platform-related discussions • Oversee implementation of GCP landing zone components, including resource hierarchy, IAM, and networking • Guide adoption of GitOps models and CI/CD frameworks such as Config Sync, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions • Monitor platform SLOs and operational metrics, including uptime, MTTR, and deployment frequency • Identify risks, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities • Lead incident response and escalation management, including post-mortems • Ensure availability of runbooks, documentation, and operational procedures • Support SRE practices and production readiness models • Maintain platform reliability and operational stability • Lead a team of engineers, including FTEs and contractors • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance direction • Support knowledge sharing and contractor-team onboarding • Promote continuous improvement and accountability • Identify opportunities for automation and platform optimization • Support integration of AI-driven operations and intelligent tooling • Evaluate tools for cloud security posture and DevOps efficiency • Encourage modern platform engineering practices • Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and Agile execution • Manage resource allocation and contractor utilization • Track SOW deliverables, milestones, and dependencies • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and capacity

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE • 4+ years of experience in team leadership, management, or technical lead roles, leading mid-sized teams of 5 to 10 engineers • 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE, IAM, networking, and monitoring • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container-based systems • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, KCC, and Kustomize • 4+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and sprint execution • 4+ years of experience with incident management and operational support using SRE practices • 4+ years of experience with cross-team coordination and stakeholder communication • 1+ years of experience with AI-driven operations or automation frameworks • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud networking, including VPCs, routing, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, hybrid connectivity, and secure application communication • 3+ years of experience in support/production environments and periodic on-call rotations • 3+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cloud Spanner, or Kafka • Ability to manage delivery in structured programs with multiple dependencies • Experience in regulated industries, such as healthcare • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe • GCP Professional Cloud Architect • Exposure to cloud security tools such as Wiz and SCC • Exposure to networking/security platforms such as Palo Alto and F5 • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience as an alternative to the bachelor's degree
