📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient Java microservices architectures • Lead development of cost-effective application and program solutions • Translate business requirements into technical specifications • Design new applications and enhancements, including integration of purchased solutions • Perform system maintenance, research, problem resolution, and on-call support • Oversee or perform unit testing and assist with functional integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing • Support implementation of systems into production • Manage code assets and promote asset reuse across the organization • Lead or act as subject matter expert for projects and service requests impacting applications • Work with development, architecture, operations, business, and functional teams • Mentor Java developers

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of overall experience in application program development • 5 years of hands-on experience on Java development • 5+ years of experience with Integration concepts and practices • 5+ years of experience in Java Spring Boot and microservices • 5+ years of experience developing Java RESTful services • 5+ years of experience working with business and functional requirements for applications supporting a sub-domain or domain and relevant interfaces • 2+ years of experience supporting and leading others to develop API services utilizing onshore and offshore teams • Good understanding of service / API interface structures • Experience/knowledge in Mongo DB and GCP platforms • Knowledge in BPM, Extreme Scale – WXS, Mqueue, SPLUNK, Cloud Containerization, and DevOps • Experience with programming languages, development tools, databases, and the systems development life cycle • Experience with application development support software packages • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
