📋 Description

• Write control plane and data plane software • Develop APIs • Troubleshoot and improve the customer experience • Help own Network Products offerings end-to-end • Lead the design, implementation, testing, and optimization of scalable services and tools • Solve performance and monitoring problems • Collaborate with Networking teams and cross-company teams to build products and services • Support existing products and develop creative solutions to pain points • Improve tooling and processes for robust, mission-critical delivery • Establish development and architecture best practices • Mentor engineers within Networking

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience as a software architect and lead developer building scalable, real-time, and distributed systems • Significant experience with Go programming language and unit tests • Domain knowledge of the Networking stack and eagerness to learn more • Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts • Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) • Some experience with data plane programming such as eBPF and XDP • Record of creating improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across business-critical systems • Record of automating delivery of high-quality, well-tested, production-ready software • B.S/M.S in Computer Science or relevant and equivalent experience • Bonus: Experience using gRPC to build robust distributed and high-demand systems • Bonus: Experience with Firewall, DNS, and Network Monitoring systems development • Bonus: Working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka
