📋 Description

• Lead quality assurance efforts for core software applications • Design, implement, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks for backend systems, network integrations, and multi-layered web applications • Lead end-to-end testing of RESTful APIs, third-party API integrations, and secure network communication workflows • Test AWS deployments using EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB • Verify adherence to AWS IAM policies and security groups • Create and execute T-SQL scripts to validate relational database schemas and data mutations • Manage and test search/indexing layers built on OpenSearch • Integrate generative AI technologies into testing workflows • Auto-generate mock data and edge-case scenarios and optimize boilerplate test script writing • Identify, document, isolate, and track bugs through Jira/Azure DevOps • Provide logs, network traces, and stack traces to accelerate developer remediation • Report to the CTO with no direct reports • Work remotely from a home office environment with minimal travel

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software QA engineering experience, with a heavy emphasis on test automation and backend validation • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem • Experience writing, testing, and debugging PHP backend code • Hands-on experience testing workloads deployed on AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB • Experience managing AWS IAM security parameters and security groups • High proficiency with relational database systems using T-SQL, including queries, stored procedures, and joins • Experience validating telemetry or index structures inside OpenSearch/Elasticsearch • Advanced mastery of RESTful API contracts • Experience with Postman, SoapUI, or automated HTTP clients • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and frameworks preferred, such as Playwright with AI-driven locators/self-healing selectors and Xray • Experience using LLMs such as Claude or ChatGPT for test case generation, log analysis, root-cause triage, or synthetic test data creation preferred • Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude API integrations, or similar AI technologies preferred • Proven track record of integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines preferred • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred • Must be based in the United States • Must be legally eligible to work for any US employer • Eleven is unable to sponsor candidates at this time • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, talk, or hear • Ability to occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds
