📋 Description

• Develop designs, architectures, best practices, templates, standards, guidelines, and models supporting one- and five-year payer market strategy and business growth targets • Create application and database architectures optimized for scaling, configurability, compliance, and modular reuse across cloud and on-premises platforms • Incorporate AI and LLM approaches into transactional applications and blend unstructured and structured data • Assess applications and databases for scalability and develop solutions for performance bottlenecks and growth • Evaluate new application development technologies • Develop proofs of concept for applications, services, and components using innovative scalable data architectures • Evaluate manual and automated business processes and recommend improvements to productivity, quality, flexibility, and throughput • Assist with business proposal development and presentations to management and customers • Mentor, train, and provide expert assistance to development teams • Provide Level 3 production support as needed • Assist with project planning, Agile methodology implementation, and daily planning and execution • Represent technology in executive meetings, cross-functional governance sessions, and client-facing solution presentations

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software technology • 5+ years in a senior product/platform leadership capacity • Experience launching 2 or more successful, long-running enterprise-scale platforms in a regulated, data-intensive industry • Bachelor’s degree in computer science • Strong business and domain acumen in U.S. healthcare systems • Strong command of the U.S. healthcare payer domain, especially claims processing, adjudication, and payment integrity • Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS audit requirements, and healthcare data interoperability • Experience building platforms that scale across large healthcare client portfolios • Experience modernizing legacy systems into modular, API-first, scalable platforms • Effective communication, executive presence, and strong storytelling ability • Ability to lead through influence, ambiguity, and complexity • Experience mentoring and building culture in global team settings • Proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL, .NET, web technologies, and real-time pipeline orchestration • Proficiency in at least two other programming languages • Experience with Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, columnar, distributed, graph, temporal, document, and vector databases; ORM; and HA/DR topologies • Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipeline tools and data quality • Experience with streaming, high-volume transactions, and concurrency • Knowledge of OCR, unstructured data parsing, and event-driven workflows • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and KPI-driven dashboards • Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, PII handling, and auditability frameworks • Experience with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment and testing pipelines • Familiarity with generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, prompt engineering, and LLM frameworks • Experience with Windows and Linux • Experience with Azure, including ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, API architecture, and microservices • AWS experience is a plus
