📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted technical architect and strategic advisor to Fortune 500 enterprises and digital innovators • Design, champion, and sell F5 application delivery and security solutions across multi-cloud, hybrid, and edge environments • Partner with CISOs, Cloud Architects, and Platform Engineering leaders to translate business goals into architectural blueprints • Guide enterprise customers in modernizing BIG-IP foundations into hybrid architectures spanning data centers, cloud, and containerized environments • Lead technical discovery, design validations, and solution demonstrations for WAAP, Bot Defense, DDoS mitigation, and Zero Trust access • Help organizations modernize traffic management, Kubernetes ingress patterns, AI inference pipelines, and AI Gateway architectures • Demonstrate Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD workflows to bring NetOps, SecOps, and DevOps together • Lead technical evaluations, identify customer priorities, and validate F5’s differentiated value • Share customer engagement insights with Product and Engineering teams to shape distributed cloud and security roadmaps • Work with Sales Directors and Enterprise/Commercial Account teams to achieve allocated sales targets

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, systems engineering, technical consulting, or an equivalent customer-aligned systems/solutions architecture role • Proven experience supporting and building trust with large enterprise accounts, particularly within high-compliance or highly regulated industries • Ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes and build trust with engineers and executive leaders • Experience with modern edge cloud/WAAP platforms, API gateway technologies, or hyperscaler cloud networking practices • Familiarity with securing or optimizing emerging AI workloads, LLM inference endpoints, or modern data services • Understanding of Web Application Security, API protection, automated threat mitigation, and Zero Trust principles • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, modern ingress controllers, API gateways, or service mesh technologies • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid connectivity patterns • Experience with Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps practices • Strong knowledge of enterprise ADCs, traffic management, and security infrastructure • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP/2, SSL/TLS, DNS, and Unix/Linux operating systems • BS/BA degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical industry experience • Relevant industry certifications are preferred but not required
