📋 Description

• Maintain the health of the API server codebase and improve the developer experience • Support frameworks and SDKs underpinning GameChanger’s development • Implement API and SDK changes facilitating server/client communication • Introduce code patterns and tools to improve developer ergonomics • Identify and improve backend codebase inefficiencies • Design and redesign critical system components as systems scale • Learn and share engineering best practices across the company • Collaborate with internal and external peers on application architecture and implementation decisions • Investigate scaling, security, and architectural challenges • Participate in an occasional team on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience with successful TypeScript and Node.js projects • 2+ years writing scalable, testable, performant server-side code • 2+ years creating project breakdown and technical-detail documentation for teammates with varying expertise • Willingness to mentor, train, and work with other teams through documentation and live sessions • Experience with version control and CI/CD systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be based in the United States, excluding AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC
